Authors

Sharon C.D. Neil is a former Deputy Chief Education Officer with responsibility for Curriculum Support Services in the Education Ministry, Jamaica. Her experience in teaching spans the spectrum from early childhood to the tertiary level. Mrs. Neil has
co-authored a series of activity-oriented workbooks for lower primary schools and continues to contribute to the textbook publishing industry in Jamaica as author, reviewer and editorial advisor.

Shedina Powell has a Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida International University. She is experienced in educational research as well as curriculum analysis and review at the Early Childhood level.  Since 2005, she has worked with children at this level through various initiatives for educational volunteerism.
