The Ministry of Education in Jamaica and in all the other
Caribbean Islands are critical publishing partners.
We work closely with ministry officers, in the course of
developing new material or revising publications, and ensuring
the sustained curriculum relevance of all our materials.
As partners in the education process, Carlong
donates thousands of books to Ministry of Education projects,
schools, libraries, reading resource centres, and various
organizations. Carlong also sponsors trophies and book
awards in support of various reading and literacy initiatives.

Our biennial catalogue is distributed to all our partners
via mail, direct delivery or web-access.
We also produce fliers, brochures, bookmarks and other promotional
items for new titles, special events, etc.

of inspection and review copies to select target groups |
|
We supply free of cost, one sample copy of each title, to
schools, libraries, booksellers and review publication for
the purpose of feedback,adoption and recommendation.
We welcome requests for sample copies, provided that the request
is written, presented on official letterhead, and duly authorized
by the relevant person.

training and marketing workshops and seminars |
|
We initiate, sponsor, plan, produce, present and/or participate
in several workshops and seminars, involving teachers, students,
booksellers, librarians and other education partners each
year.
We invite you to partner with us, and we are confident that
together we can make a difference to the educational development
of our children.

displays, participation in book fairs and other book promotion
and sale activities |

Our world of learning is on display all the time. We are
always on the lookout and are always on call to respond to
the need to expose quality educational material for review,
adoption and use by our customers.
We support our retail bookseller partners, by ensuring that
we utilize every opportunity to present our material to the
widest possible audience. You can be assured that Carlong
will assess, and respond to your call for our involvement
in your educational project.

and promotion of our exciting Reading Resource Collection and
Showroom |
|
The Reading Resource Collection offers a wide selection
of publications, including graded readers from the Carlong,
Longman, Penguin, Ladybird and other Pearson imprints, to
enhance the development of literacy skills, from early childhood
through to secondary levels.
